Please answer all of these questions fully and completely, and either post your application as a new thread in this forum, email it to recruitment@avatarsofdiscord.org, or send it to me in a private message.

1. Provide a link to your Armory profile. Please ensure you are wearing the equipment you plan on raiding with and have the talent build you plan on using, or your application may be discarded. If you have equipment for additional talent builds for your class, provide us details on that as well.

2. Tell us how you perceive your end game raiding role. What kind of raid experience do you have, including any content prior to Wrath of the Lich King? Explain how your current talent and equipment selection assist in that role, and tell us about areas you feel you could improve.

3. If possible, please link a WWS Report that demonstrates the level to which you can perform in raids. If you don't have a report from a raid, a report of you fighting a Training Dummy will suffice.

4. Tell us a bit about your previous raiding guilds. What are their names, and what server were they on? What made you decide to leave, and what brought you to Avatars of Discord?

5. Do you have any serious (Level 80) alts? Link their Armory profiles, if so.

6. What days and times are you available to play? Please list a day-by-day schedule with concrete times.

7. Tell us a bit about yourself. Where are you from? How old are you? Where do you work or go to school? How long have you been playing World of Warcraft? Add anything else you feel is worth mentioning.

The following is an example of an exceptional application. Most applications we receive aren't quite up to the quality of this document, but this is what you should aspire to in applying to our guild.

Armory. In addition to my Shadow set, I also have a (slightly lower quality) Holy set interspersed with any DPS epics that have generally universal stats. I would spec 14/57/0 when healing, but I am open to iDS builds as well.

My raid experience spans from Molten Core through the spider wing of the original Naxxramas, and from Karazhan through the Eredar Twins in Sunwell Plateau. I've played as both a Holy and a Shadow Priest at various times throughout my raiding career. Presently, as a Shadow Priest my biggest concern in a raid is maximizing Replenishment uptime, without sacrificing my personal DPS. I admit I've had a pretty terrible time adjusting to post-3.0 cycles, which is probably my biggest weakness right now. I hope to improve that with more practice in level 80 raids.

I was previously a member of (name removed) on Lightbringer for the balance of my classic raiding career, when they collapsed after Patch 2.0 released. I moved over to join (name removed) on Cenarius for TBC, and have been with them ever since. I haven't really been fond of the atmosphere lately, and am looking to join a smaller guild where I feel like I know and enjoy playing with everybody in the raid.

5. Do you have any serious (70+) alts? Link their Armory profiles, if so.

I only have a Warrior that's level 70, though I didn't put much work into him pre-expansion. I am pretty dedicated to my Priest. Achievements are occupying all my game time these days.

6. What days and times are you available to play? Please list a day-by-day schedule with concrete times.

I am available Monday through Friday, from 6 pm through 11 pm Pacific. I occasionally play on the weekends, as well, though I have TKD class on Saturday afternoons.

7. Tell us a bit about yourself. Where are you from? How old are you? Where do you work or go to school? How long have you been playing World of Warcraft? Add anything else you feel is worth mentioning.

I am a 24 year old grad student in Physics at the University of (removed). I'm engaged to a beautiful woman who I am planning to marry in the Spring, and she plays WoW with me, too (although she doesn't raid). Aside from Warcraft, I am a huge fan of rhythm games like Rock Band and Guitar Hero, and I have an embarrassing habit of occasionally playing The Sims 2. (Don't tell my friends.) I also teach Tae Kwon Do classes on the weekends, which is part of why your raid schedule is so appealing to me. I am really looking forward to being in a guild where I don't have to structure my life around the raid schedule, so I hope to hear from you soon!
